What does “Zemedelko” mean?
Zemedelko comes from the Bulgarian word for farming, with the warm diminutive “-ko” — like a good friend who is always around. We chose the name because that is what we want to be for the Bulgarian farmer: close, clear and useful in everyday work.
Our mission
A modern farm runs on information — but that information is scattered: heavy regulations and short subsidy deadlines, expensive and rare soil tests, mandatory paper journals. Zemedelko brings it all together: a platform where you ask in plain language, see your field from orbit, and keep your records along the way.
The platform — three tools, one account
Satellite soil analysis. Outline your field straight from the cadastre and get an interactive report within the hour: humus, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and pH by management zones, with agronomic classes and uncertainty intervals — from 10 m satellite data and an 11-year archive, without a single shovel. Every report ships with an automatic AI read-out, and the zones export as a VRA file ready for the machine terminal.
AI assistant. Answers questions about direct payments, eco schemes, coupled support, young-farmer and investment measures, organic production and CAP Strategic Plan calls. It reads uploaded documents — and it knows your field’s soil analysis, so you can ask “how much fertiliser for zone 3?”.
Electronic farm journals. The mandatory journals (plant protection, fertilisation and more) are kept online with ready-made nomenclatures, automatic calculations and inspection-ready Word export.
For cooperatives and producer groups we offer company accounts with a shared quota and per-employee cost control.
What Zemedelko is NOT
